Frequently Asked Questions

How many sessions will I need?

This is up to you and something we can review regularly. We recommend starting with 6 sessions and seeing how you feel about it. The timescale and duration of therapy varies based on individual needs. It will be guided by your personal requirements in relation to your therapeutic journey.

How will my personal information be kept safe?

We adhere to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UKCP guidance. Therefore Connect will hold all information on you confidentially. It is only accessible to your counsellor for the purpose of running the service.

Is parking available?

Whilst we do not have our own parking, there is lots of parking available in Belper. Plan your journey with the map below.

Is there disabled access?

Regrettably, our therapy room is not accessible to those who may struggle to climb stairs. However, we would love to work with you online.

How often will I come to therapy?

To build a therapeutic relationship, we offer weekly sessions. These are usually at the same time/day each week.

How much will I pay?

Sessions are £50-£60 payable by bank transfer prior to the session.

This service is the national alcohol helpline. It is for if you are worried about your own or someone else’s drinking.

Session Fees

Individual Therapy

50 Minute Sessions: £50 - £60

Couples Therapy

50 Minute Sessions: £80

(Simon Only)

Sessions can be offered face to face, online (using Zoom) or by telephone.

We aim to respond to all enquiries within 48 hours.
